These pages are text-based searches of tax industry data sets.
Search for EROs
Use this tool to search for EROs in their character as business entities. Search by legal name, DBA name, address, city, state, zip code, and phone number.
After entering your search in the filters, click on the ERO’s name in the Search Results box to view detailed data. A graph shows the ERO’s yearly electronic filing volume. A map shows the ERO’s location.
Click on the Owners, Contacts, and PTINs tab to view people associated with the ERO.
Search for People
This interface searches for people working in the for-profit tax preparation industry.
Included in this directory are
- ERO owners
- ERO contacts
- acceptance agents
- PTIN holders
As a person may concurrently hold any or all of these roles, the same person may be listed multiple times, once for each role.
We offer multiple user interfaces to the People Search database. All interfaces contain the same information, but they vary in look and feel, particularly in the filters. Explore all of them and use the one you like best.
